Title: Accounting Supervisor
Schedule:Hours of operation for the office are typically Monday through Friday 8:30a.m. to 5:30p.m. Monday Wednesday in office; Thursday Friday remote.
As the Accounting Supervisor/Manager you will lead our accounting operations ensuring accuracy compliance and efficiency. This role will collaborate closely with the Finance & Accounting Senior Manager on financial analysis account reconciliation and policy development while also motivating and guiding a dedicated team.
What Youll Do:
- Oversee and manage core accounting functions including accounts payable general ledger and taxes.
- Prepare review and ensure accuracy of financial statements and reports maintaining compliance with regulations.
- Analyze financial data and provide strategic insights to support senior management decisionmaking.
- Prepare and post Journal Entries including accruals and depreciation.
- Coordinate and prepare for internal and external audits ensuring thorough compliance.
- Develop and implement financial policies to improve efficiency and maintain strong internal controls.
- Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals fostering growth and professional development.
- Engage in special projects such as cost analysis and budgeting for new initiatives as needed.
What Youll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelors degree in accounting finance or a related field is preferred.
- Four 4 or more years of progressive public accounting experience.
- Proven ability to set pursue and achieve goals ensuring projects meet customer needs and adhere to quality and deadline expectations.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities capable of clearly conveying information to a diverse range of individuals.
- Month End Close experience or audit experience.
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliation and preparing and posting journal entries.
- Financial statement preparation experience.
- Strong problemsolving skills with a methodical approach to tasks ensuring effective and efficient outcomes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software and the ability to quickly adapt to new software as needed.
- Proven ability to maintain confidential information.
- Solid understanding and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Capable of working independently while also thriving in a team environment with a genuine willingness to learn and grow.

Compensation:
Salary range between $70000 $110000 may be eligible for additional discretionary incentive compensation based on individual and the firms performance.
Compensation will be determined by a number of factors including educational background and experience.
