THE RECRUITMENT RANGE FOR THIS POSITION IS LIMITED TO $43738 to $72100. Salary offers for the selected candidate are based on the candidates education and experience related to the position as well as our agency budget and equity.
This position serves as the fixed asset database accounting officer for the Department of Justice (DOJ).DOJhas a fixed asset system that directly interfaces with North Carolina Financial System(NCFS). This position is primarily responsible for coordinating activities of all fixed asset personnel acrossDOJand ensuring that all assets are properly entered maintained and disposed of within the system and that this system is systematically reconciled with theNCFS. This position also helps other personnel inDOJwith any fixed asset inquiries and serves as the primary liaison betweenDOJITD andOSC.This position is also DOJs 1099-Compliance Officer Escheats Administrator and Security Administrator. This position also administers all Civil Penalty and School fund transfers; administers all employee electronic payment forms; and authorizes the transfer for disbursement Sheriffs Supplemental Pension funds. This position approves receipts and grant-related journal voucher approvals and also in charge of completing monthly bank reconciliations for the agency.
