Job Description

Charette is a small pioneering HS located in Downtown Providence. We take pride in our strong and caring school culture high standards and expectations and 10:1 studentteacher ratio. This is an exciting time to join the Charette team as we have adopted the OpenSciEd Curriculum and a Canvas platform. This curriculum revolves around figuring out an intriguing phenomenon. Students are motivated to figure out whats in front of them and teachers guide the process to deep science learning. All of our teachers have the opportunity to mentor a small group of students providing support in their efforts to earn a high school diploma and plan for college and career. At Charette we build community believe in the power of we and support each other to reach the best possible is a relatively new charter school that is shaping the future of education with a strong collaborative team. We are currently seeking a dynamic teacher to join us. All teachers are viewed as teacher leaders. We highly value educators who bring with them the background and cultural experiences of diverse urban youth as we believe this is crucial in helping our students meet academic and social goals.
