We are responsible for the tax calculation platform providing the core services that calculate taxes (sales tax and VAT) for all Amazon sales physical and digital globally. We are looking for software engineers who thrive on complex problems. Our systems manage hundreds of millions of records and respond to millions of service requests per minute.
The successful candidate is expected to contribute to all parts of the software development and deployment lifecycle in our Java Linux and Oraclebased environment. Duties will include design development documentation testing and operations.
3 years of noninternship professional software development experience 2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
