Test Manager

How will I help

Portfolio Test Manager role for WIB CIO Transformation will be responsible to align and standardise the Test Practices and Test Management across the WIB Technology portfolio. This role will be responsible for uplifting automation standardising test uplifting Environment Management practices and aligning teams across the WIB Technology portfolio in liaison with the enterprise teams (EQS) and strategic partners. Setting up each village within the WIB Technology portfolio for success by refining and implementing fit for purpose test management cadence timely delivery of initiatives with a view of establishing frequent releases and standardising the processes by eliminating gaps and confusion. Also fully understanding pattern of business activity of services and driving teams to do forward planning including test environment management.

This position is also pivotal in bringing the elements of automation (DevOps and Test automation) to deliver frictionless releases.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Develop a virtual test management team across all villages in WIB aligned to the delivery squads.
• Drive visibility of integrated test environment availability contention and uptime across WIB owned environments including the adoption of automated monitoring and alerting.
• Drive the development of fit for purpose skills with a focus on automation and delivery.
• Absolute focus on increasing test automation footprint and reducing manual testing. Build Automation COE.
• Align with enterprise toolsets and bring standardisation across the WIB Technology portfolio. Enhance reporting and metrics for improvements.
• Drive WIBwide improvements and enable the concept of frequent and automated releases.
• Work closely with DevOps and automation to embed the right practices within the release flow for frictionless delivery.
• Drive the standardization of Test standards and processes across WIB Technology.
• Drive an increase in regression test automation across WIB Technology to >80 for all critical systems.
• Establish and maintain environment availability contention and uptime monitoring across WIB Technology owned integrated test environments.

What do I need

Essential:

• Test management and leadership experience.
• Proven Delivery experience within a large enterprise.
• A strong understanding of test environment management practices to drive maximum efficiency from testing teams.
• Proven ability to apply initiative to solving problems through automation.
• Proven ability to simplify processes and improve controls through automation.
• Agile ITII and DevOps certifications will be advantageous.
