A day in the life
We are looking for a passionate talented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who can drive key engineering and business decisions that impact Amazons longterm vision including innovation in the delivery and consumption of media and entertainment. In this development role you will have an opportunity to make a large impact on the design architecture and quality of cutting edge products used every day by people you know.

About the team
Our team is on an exciting growth journey we are involved in new device launches and working out how to scale our operations efficiently.

2 years of noninternship professional software development testing experience
1 years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience
Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java C or C# including objectoriented design
Experience in platformlevel security mitigations and hardening for Linux and Windows

Knowledge of overall system architecture scalability reliability and performance in a database environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
