Role and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a dedicated and detailoriented Order Filler to join our team. In this role you will play an important part in making sure customers receive the correct items they ordered.
- Find the items that customers ordered.
- Look at the order list and find the right items on the shelves.
- Pick the items and put them in a box.
- Make sure the items are safe in the box by adding bubble wrap or foam so they dont break.
- Check if there are enough items in stock to fill the order.
- Tell the team if we are running low on any items.
- Put the shipping label on the box.
- Make sure the customers name and address are correct.
- Help keep track of what we have in stock.
- Work with the team to organize and pull items from the shelves.
- Put a receipt in the box and write the price on the items.
- Ask for more materials or supplies if needed.
Qualifications:
- Work well with others and be supportive.
- Notice when products need to be moved or replaced.
- Follow safety rules and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Requirements:
- No experience needed
Physical & Environmental Demands:
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs or more
- Walking and moving around the warehouse or grocery store
- Bending stooping and reaching
- Repetitive tasks such as picking and packing items
- Exposure to loud noise levels
- Working in cold or hot temperatures depending on the area
- Operating heavy equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks
- Navigating tight spaces such as aisles or storage areas
- Reasonable accommodations are available
