Job Posting: Adjunct Faculty Cybersecurity
MIU City University Miami
MIU City University Miami is seeking highly qualified adjunct faculty members to join our team and teach oncampus courses in Cybersecurity. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are passionate about education and have expertise in the following subject areas:
- Cybercrime and Cybersecurity Regulations
- Cybersecurity Governance and Risk Analysis
- Computer Forensics and Incident Response
- System Application and Big Data Security
- Network Security and Intelligent Threat Analysis
- Secure Software Development and Auditing
Minimum Qualifications:
- Possess a terminal degree (Ph.D. . or equivalent) in Cybersecurity Computer Science Information Technology or a closely related field.
- Proven experience teaching in higher education with familiarity in using Canvas as a Learning Management System (LMS).
- Ability to teach on campus at MIU City University Miami.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry certifications such as CISSP CISM CISA CEH Cisco Cybersecurity Professional (CCP) Cisco Certified Specialist Cybersecurity Forensic Analysis and Incident Response or equivalent.
- Experience in curriculum development and instructional design for cybersecurity courses.
- Handson industry experience in cybersecurity digital forensics or risk management.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver highquality instruction in accordance with the universitys curriculum.
- Utilize Canvas LMS to facilitate course materials assignments and student engagement.
- Assess and evaluate student learning outcomes.
- Provide mentorship and academic support to students.
- Maintain academic and professional integrity in teaching and research.
