Job Description
Hours: Full Time
Salary: Up to 36000 dependent on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Acknowledge enquiries within 4 hours and send quotations within 24 hours
- Lead site visits and conduct show rounds
- Prepare proposals and pitches to the Searcys and Inner Temple standards ensuring best fit for client needs whilst maximising revenue and yield
- Provide a full and accurate handover to the Planning Team in advance of the event
- Manage and update the venues CRM system ensuring GDPR compliance
- Proactively manage the event diary
- Provide weekly updated forecasts and Business on the Books (BOB) reports as required
- Train monitor and support the development of junior sales team members
- Manage the departments social media and blog schedule
Qualifications :
- 2 years experience within a commercial sales environment (event sales desirable)
- Proven track record in the development of profitable new business and key account management
- Demonstrable success in facetoface negotiation and telephone sales
- Proficient in database management CRM platform and event booking systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
