Job Description
Canton Public Schools is looking for dynamicABA Tutors at the PreK Elementary and Middle School level who value equity socialemotional learning and provide access to learning experiencesfor all students. Qualified candidates will have demonstratedsuccess in building and sustaining strong relationships with students and families and value ongoing collaboration with colleagues.
Position Details
The ABA Tutor supports students with IEP services who require a significant level of behavioral academic and social support through the use of ABA instructional methodology under the supervision of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Data collection and graphing is a component of responsibilities. ABA tutors work in a variety of contexts including general education and special education settings and in largegroup small group or 1:1 ratios. The ABA Tutor will be restraint and deescalation strategies certified each year by the district. ABA Tutors are assigned to the district and may be moved to support students in other buildings as needs arise.
