Job Description
My client is one of the largest multistrategy quantitative hedge funds in the world with a growing centralized AI and Machine Learning division.
They are looking for an experienced Lead AI Engineer to join the team that owns AI within the fund.

Requirements
PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (or similar STEM field).
Minimum 4 years of AI/ML experience doing endtoend research and implementation.
Ability to work with stakeholders and communicate needs across groups.
Strong AI and/or Machine Learning exposure to the newest advancements such as large language models (LLMs) and/or deep learning (NLP vision speech signal processing scientific computing).
Compensation
$450000 $600000 Total Compensation depending on level of experience.

Whats the Job
As a Lead AI Engineer in their fastgrowing AI and Machine Learning group you will be part of a group that owns AI and all of the related products across the fund. Your AI work will be used to create trading strategies and insights to power their quantitative research and trading.
You should have experience with endtoend research and implementation as well as experience communicating and working with senior stakeholders. You will be surrounded by some of the leading technologists and engineers in this field and given lots of support with your research efforts with lots of growth opportunities within the firm as they grow and expand their AI efforts.
Location
This role requires you to work out of their New York City office five days a week. They do cover relocation expenses if you are looking to move.
