The centralized treasury department in Basel ensures optimal financing and appropriate liquidity of the Group and its affiliates. It is responsible for managing the financial assets and liabilities for the entire Roche Group. Within the treasury department the Treasury Operations team manages the Roche InHouse Bank with a variety of banking services for the affiliates. The Team is responsible for master data maintenance and transaction processing on the global treasury SAP system.
We are hiring for two InHouse Bank Specialist positions on a temporary basis. The contract duration will be 12 months with the option of being extended.
This role focuses on the continuous improvement and expansion of Roches InHouse Bank for payments and other settlements for low to moderate complexity treasury this position you will assist the InHouse Bank team with a focus on implementation projects daily operations and/or further improvement of payment and collection processes.
Your responsibilities include projects like the implementation of ISO20022 for payments salaries and bank statements. Furthermore you may take ownership in leading the development of digitalised solutions for the InHouse bank team combining new communication formats (API) in collaboration with data analytics & IT. Additionally you provide any necessary support to enable efficient and effective treasury; alignment and cross departmental support within and outside the core treasury teams. If you bring strong understanding and commitment to the Roche Finance Framework mindset and behaviours and show strong potential we will support excellent growth opportunities.
In this role you will:
Assist the In House Bank team with ongoing projects and take the lead on treasuryrelated initiatives including adapting to new regulations integrating with other finance areas and automating processes
Support Cash Management and InHouse bank team with various tasks such as payment creation and monitoring or daily operations
Support various projects on an ad hoc basis in alignment with the Core Treasury Strategy
Design develop and implement digital solutions for the InHouse bank
Further development into other InHouse bank tasks will be considered
Testing preparation and coordination for Treasury InHouse bank projects
Coordination with the banks
Create & Update SOPs
Who you are
You have a Masters degree in Finance or Economics and minimum 2 years of experience in an international Treasury organization.
You bring solid SAP knowledge (InHouse Cash module S4/Hana).
You have knowledge of payment formats and digital solutions in Treasury.
You are a good team player and work on own initiative. You are eager to learn and able to apply new knowledge quickly.
You are flexible to take over special assignments besides the project related tasks.
You are fluent in verbal and written English; German is a plus.
You have excellent MS Office knowledge especially Excel and Google Suite.
