Job Description

GA Telesis Landing Gear Services is committed to providing the most comprehensive aircraft maintenance repair overhaul and logistic support services to the commercial rotor and fixedwing aircraft markets. We are seeking a weekend shift NDT Inspector for the GA Telesis Landing Gear Services facility in Medley Florida (FridayMonday) . TheNDT Inspectorplays a key role in maintaining highquality standards while complying with GA Telesis processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection.
  • Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
  • Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
  • Communication: excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.
  • Conduct NDT for the acceptance of parts and document the results if a demonstration of proficiency in this ability was included in the practical examination
  • Have a general knowledge of other NDT methods product manufacturing and inspection technologies used by the employer
  • Record all inspection functions on applicable paperwork in accordance with the customer policies and procedures
  • Analytical skills: must be able to gather information and use data to determine cause and effect for complex problem solving.
  • Ensuring that the inspection tools and equipment including inspection aids used to perform inspections are in proper working order and the proper calibration information is affixed.
  • Perform Quality Control Inspections as required.
  • Landing Gear inspection experiences a plus for this role.
  • Other duties as instructed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Level II Certification in both MT and PT
  • Quality inspection aerospace aircraft inspection NDT Ultrasonic NDT Level 2
  • Level II certification for one or more applicable NDT disciplines
