Job Description

WHAT YOULL DO

As a Tax & Report Coordinator MX within our Accounting team youll ensure the accuracy of monthly quarterly and annual reports and timely compliance with the companys tax obligations in accordance with current regulations. Follow up on accounting reconciliations tax returns and working papers.

  • Support Accounting Lead in monthly quarterly and annual closing.
  • Analyse general ledger reserves.
  • Track and analyse bank and receivables reconciliations.
  • Monitor accounts payable and gift certificates.
  • Establish routines for securities reserves intercompany transactions and fixed asset reserves.
  • Communicate with external audit authorities.
  • Report to the parent company in accordance with IFRS standards.
  • Establish routines for monitoring accounting accounts and manual payments.
  • Review and approve tax returns ensuring compliance with deadlines.
  • Coordinate compliance with federal national and local tax obligations.
  • Supervise the delivery of reports to governmental entities.
  • Respond to audits and requirements from tax authorities.
  • Prepare information for income tax provision and deferred tax calculations.
  • Support regulatory changes in tax matters.
  • Coordinate preparation of the Transfer Pricing report.
  • Manage daytoday tax queries and support the business.
  • Implement changes in tax regulations.
  • Support internal and external audit teams on tax figures.
  • Ensure submission of electronic accounting.
  • Analyse and communicate tax impacts from regulatory changes.
  • Identify and evaluate tax risks making recommendations.
  • Stay updated on accounting tax and commercial standards policies and procedures.
  • Develop tools to automate reports and tax return calculations.
