Description

Cherokee Casino West Siloam Springsis hiring an Environmental Services (EVS) Lead Attendant to be responsible for leading and supervising a team of EVS Attendants to maintain a clean and inviting environment for guests and employees throughout the casino. This position requires a strong work ethic attention to detail and the ability to ensure a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.



Responsibilities
  • Supervise and guide the work of EVS Attendants ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and mentor EVS Attendants on proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
  • Schedule and assign daily work tasks to EVS Attendants.
  • Monitor employee performance and address any concerns promptly.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure cleanliness standards are met throughout the casino.
  • Perform cleaning tasks as needed including vacuuming mopping dusting and restroom cleaning.
  • Assist with special cleaning projects as required.
  • Identify and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
  • Ensure the proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment for all employees.
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests and colleagues.


Qualifications
  • 1 year of experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role preferably in a casino or hospitality environment and High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced and often demanding environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work in a casino environment which may include exposure to secondhand smoke and crowd noise.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority (if required).
  • Must have and maintain a valid drivers license (if required).
