Summary
As an Intern you will provide basic administrative research and office support for an assigned department or practice group. Interns use internships as a means to gain practical work experience and reinforce specific knowledge gained through college education.
Location
This position is located in our Austinoffice and offers a hybrid work schedule working 1015 hours/week during the school year and switching to Monday through Thursday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM during the summer.
Responsibilities
Performs administrative duties to include creating and editing documents maintaining spreadsheets and analyzing basic data.
Researches information gathers data and prepares basic reports or analyses.
Collates documents brochures or other materials.
Prepares basic correspondence. Accesses document management system to update and/or create new documents as needed.
Attends and participates in meetings to gain an understanding of department objectives and recent activities.
Assists on special projects and assignments.
Other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills
Solid skills in Microsoft office to include Word and Excel. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Good interpersonal and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail. Must be able to work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
Minimum Education
Candidate should have completed at least two years of college with a preference for three or more.
Minimum Years of Experience
To qualify for the internship the candidate must have an interest in gaining practical work experience.
Some previous office or internship experience is preferred.
Preferred Experience
Background in business finance and/or data analytics.
Demonstrated interest in pursuing law school and/or corporate law.
Essential Job Expectations

Physical Demands
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Work Environment
The individual selected for this position may have the opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement comprised of remote and inoffice work the requirement for which will be determined in coordination with the hiring manager or supervisor and may be modified in the firms discretion in the future.
