SHIFT:
2nd Shift: MondayThursday (Friday and Weekend reserved for OT) 6:00PM4:45AM.
Pay Rate:
Starting at $20.00 per hour.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works in the plant in support of the maintenance department.
- Responsible for hands on maintenance troubleshooting and repair of hand tools such as pneumatic or electric reciprocating saws and nail guns.
- Conducts regular parts and tools inventory submits purchase requisitions for supply needs.
- Follows managers direction of the duties to be performed.
- Generally does not operate power tools such as saws and nail guns but may be required to fill in for tool operators based on managers direction.
- Operators must be able to repeatedly lift a pallet weighing 5075 lbs.
- Work requires operator to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- The Utility Tech will adhere to all health and safety policies and directives and maintain a clean safe work area.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- The Utility Tech must have physical strength handeye coordination and endurance.
- Mechanically inclined Knowledge of and demonstrable ability to use common mechanics tools.
- Tech must also be able to concentrate on their tasks.
- The ability to understand and communicate information is also essential.
- Ability to use and navigate MS office and internet applications.
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- 2 years previous experience working in an industrial fast moving setting with industrial machinery
