Job Description
The Director of Innovation Digital will be a leader in Ingredions One Innovation group. As a member of the extended leadership team this role will be able to shape the innovation agenda and have an impact on our whole organization. We are looking for a strong leader who believes in the power of collaboration will lead by example and be a strong advocate within our organization.
The Director of Innovation Digital will be responsible for leading the digital transformation of our innovation capabilities. This role will work together with Innovation leaders to uncover needs that can be addressed through digital tools and find solutions that are fit for purpose. This role will be responsible for bringing impactful digital and data science solutions to enhance our innovation processes. The Director will collaborate with crossfunctional teams including our Digital Technology Solutions Digital Partner and team (DTS formerly known as IT) to ensure the development of digital tools that optimize our innovation efforts and drive business outcomes.
Core Responsibilities:
- Identify and prioritize digital needs focusing on the business impact of solutions that enhance their work and drive outcomes in collaboration with One Innovation leaders.
- Lead and champion the innovation needs across the organization working closely with DTS and other crossfunctional teams to implement impactful digital tools and platforms.
- Prioritize digital projects for business impact and return on investment.
- Develop secure funding for and execute strategic digital initiatives that support innovation functions ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals. Guide the innovation process by leveraging the latest digital technologies while providing strong leadership direction and mentorship to the digital innovation team.
- Build and maintain effective partnerships with functional innovation leaders continuously surfacing opportunities for digital technologies to enhance and optimize their efforts.
- Ensure the quality reliability and scalability of digital solutions and monitor their performance to provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in digital innovation suggesting improvements to our solutions and strategies.
- Advise senior leadership on scientific digital innovation matters acting as a trusted partner and thought leader within the organization.
Qualified candidate will have:
- Bachelors degree or higher in a relevant field with 8 years of experience in strategic leadership roles. Prior experience implementing digital products is a strong plus.
- Exceptional leadership stakeholder management and collaboration skills with a proven ability to inspire and guide crossfunctional teams.
- Experience working in a global environment and managing diverse teams with the capability to navigate cultural differences and collaborate effectively across geographies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex digital concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Strong critical thinking and problemsolving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team demonstrating resilience under pressure and adherence to deadlines.

$175200.00$233600.00 AnnualThis pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
Incentive Compensation:
As a part of the total compensation package this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a rolespecific commission/bonus.
