Job brief

Seeking a highly skilled Collector Substation Engineer with a strong background in renewables and collector or generationside experience. The ideal candidate will hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license and a Master of Science in ElectricalEngineering (MSEE). This is a remote position offering flexibility and the opportunity to work on diverse and impactfulprojects in the renewable energy field.

Responsibilities

  • Design develop and implement collector substation projects with a focus on renewable energy generation andintegration.
  • Conduct detailed engineering analysis and calculations to ensure optimal performance and reliability ofsubstations.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop project plans specifications and cost estimates.
  • Perform equipment selection layout design and technical evaluations for substation compliance with industry standards regulations and safety protocols.
  • Provide technical support and guidance during construction testing and commissioning phases.
  • Conduct site visits as necessary to assess project requirements and ensure proper implementation.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in renewable energy technologies and substation engineering practices.
