You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are currently recruiting a Demand Planning Analyst to join the planning team of a globally recognised food and nutrition company. Based in Kilkenny with hybrid working options this role plays a key part in shaping demand forecasting strategies across multiple product categories and time horizons ensuring alignment with commercial goals and the companys integrated S&OP processes.
This is an exciting opportunity for a datadriven professional to contribute to strategic planning and drive value through analytical insight and collaborative planning across commercial supply chain and production teams.
Develop and manage rolling 13week and 18month demand forecasts across SKUs
Generate baseline forecasts using statistical tools and enhance them with market and commercial inputs
Collaborate with category and commercial teams to challenge and validate forecast assumptions
Analyse forecast performance trends and gaps versus budget and stock targets
Provide regular reporting and insights to commercial logistics and production teams
Support decisionmaking with datadriven recommendations including dashboard creation and visualisation tools
Work closely with stakeholders across supply planning customer service and product lifecycle teams to ensure forecast accuracy and timely SKU transitions
Contribute to crossfunctional projects supporting continuous improvement of planning processes
4 years experience in demand planning supply chain or commercial planning roles
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with a detailoriented mindset
Proven ability to manage complex forecasting environments and large data sets
Proficient in developing dashboards and performance reports (Power BI or similar tools desirable)
Experience working within an integrated S&OP framework
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Comfortable working in a fastpaced and evolving environment
APICS or IIPMM certification (desirable)
Relevant thirdlevel qualification in supply chain business finance or related discipline
