POSITION/ROLE:
We are looking for a Parttime Licensed Therapist to who will be responsible for running group therapy sessions providing high quality patient care. This position is responsible for facilitating group therapy sessions to clients struggling with mental and emotional issues substance abuse and other addictive behaviors while also delivering group content that helps clients understand their mental health issues and how to cope with them.
Success in this role comes from being passionate about helping people a team player openminded and willing to constantly learn and improve professionally as a therapist within the area of mental health services.
EDUCATION SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Masters or doctorate degree in behavioral sciences or related field
At least two 2 years professional experience in related field
Valid license to practice psychotherapy in the State of California
Must have patience tact cheerful disposition and enthusiasm as well as be willing to handle patients based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning at.
Must have sensitivity to and ability to embrace individuals of different genders age sexual orientation ethnicity religions physical abilities & those with diversified cultural backgrounds
Proficiency using Microsoft Suite: Outlook Word and Excel Experience and using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
Strong charting/documentation skills
