Specialty Requirements
Option III:A doctoral degree or equivalent college units from an accredited college in Industrial/Organizational Psychology Measurement Applied Psychology or a closely related field.
To receive credit for your education include a copy of your official diploma official transcript or letter/certificate from an accredited institution within seven 7 days from application submission date. The document should show the date the degree was conferred and be in English; if it is in a foreign language it must be translated and evaluated for equivalency to U.S. standards. Applicants who served in the military and were honorably discharged may qualify for Veterans Credit. We will need a copy of your form DD214 to review so please include that with your application.

Examination Content
Once we have identified that you meet our requirements an invitation regarding the following assessment processes will be sent.This examination will consist of two 2 parts weighted at 100.
Part I: A multiplechoice and/or simulation assessment(s) weighted 60 measuring the following competencies:
Part II:An Evaluation of Training & Experience weighted 40 assessing the following competencies:
Applicants must meet the requirements and achieve a passing score of 70 or higher on each part of the examination in order to be placed on the eligible register.
Multiplechoice and simulation assessments are not reviewable by candidates per Civil Service Rule 7.19.
Transfer of Test ComponentsIf you recently took identical components for other exams the test responses may be automatically transferred to this examination. This exam contains test components that might be used on future exams and your responses could be transferred to that exam.
Test PreparationWe provide study guides and other test preparation resources to help candidates prepare for employment tests. While the guides may help in preparing for the test we recommend reviewing all related materials that seem necessary.
Eligibility and Vacancy Information
In lieu of traditional banding an alternative banding procedure may be employed as a result of a special study sanctioned by the Department of Human Resources consistent with Civil Service Rule 11.01(D).
