The Business Operations Coordinator is a vital role within the Roger Glass Center for the Arts responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient daytoday operations. This position encompasses facility management including building access and maintenance expense control and contract administration. It also involves comprehensive box office management from ticket sales and reporting to strategic collaboration on marketing events. Furthermore the Coordinator will supervise frontofhouse student employees and contribute to the maintenance of the College of Arts and Sciences intranet page. This role demands a highly organized and detailoriented individual with strong administrative financial and customer service skills capable of managing multiple priorities and contributing to the overall success of the arts center.
Associates Degree or two years of Business Operations experience
Strong organizational skills
Practical experience in operations marketing or expense tracking
Articulated ability to support the University of Daytons commitment to the principles of inclusive excellence
Effective written communication skills
Ability to work independently with a high degree of flexibility
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:
Bachelors in Business Administration or related field
Box office management experience
Graphic design proficiency
Social media promotional experience
Expressed willingness to engage with Marianist educational values that build community across diversity promote inclusive excellence and contribute to the common good
