You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Membership Services team provides membership support and education on membership for all Coop members summer participants and summer programming as well as preparation for Fall/Winter membership needs. Membership Services team is responsible for database management publishing Membership Newsletter and ensure accuracy of membership roll. Working in small groups or across departments youth in these roles develop confidence and begin to master skills used in their writing analysis and participation in the workplace. Our waterfall mentorship model means you will help others to learn things you are already an expert in and others will help you learn things you are working on yourself. These roles are progressive over the summer and youth are afforded as much scope and responsibility as they are willing and able to handle. Its a great way to level up in a team setting where your voice and opinions genuinely make a difference daily.
Contracts are funded by the Government of Canada and offered at the Ontario minimum wage.
These positions follow a hybrid work structure where employees both work from home and from the office/meet up location(s) as needed based on demands of specific tasks and projects.
Working from the office/studio or your local meet up location(s) will be required when working on tasks that require a high degree of collaboration or inperson supervision.
Training and Workshops for this role may be online or inperson.
Due to federal funding requirements for this position eligible applicants must:
Be 15 30 years of age on their first day of work
Be a Canadian citizen have permanent resident status or be protected under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
Be present in Canada while working
Hold a valid Social Insurance Number and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
Be aware that not all positions are funded in all locations
Membership Services Manager
The Membership Services Manager oversees and is responsible for all operations and staff within the department. They plan develop administer and evaluate programs and benefits for members of The Coop. They will also take part in hiring and onboarding processes for their prospective staff including training and orientation and will be responsible for scheduling guiding and supporting the departments work and goals. Plan active campaign for public education and membership drives. Plan Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Membership Services Coordinator
Membership Services Coordinators plan develop administer and evaluate programs and benefits for members of The Coop. Provide education on membership benefits. Plan active campaign for public education and membership drives. Plan Annual General Meeting (AGM) and issue invitations.
Typical Work Hours
Typically work 35 hours per week
Rotational coverage for evenings and weekends as scheduled
The Coop seeks individuals who enjoy collaboration creativity learning new skills and engaging with artists and the community. This position includes some evenings and weekends as scheduled.
