Chronicle Books is looking for a Digital Sales Coordinator to manage sales to all eBook accounts as well as manage Chronicle Books relationship with our external digital audio book sales distribution partner. This role will also support our overall Amazon business both physical and digital products through optimizing our presence on Amazon and internal processes. Detailorientated selfstarters with strong analytical skills will thrive in this role.
Key Responsibilities: The Digital Sales Coordinator will manage sales to all active eBook accounts organize our eBook down pricing program lead sales calls pitch titles review account sales and forecast billing for all key accounts and channels. They will plan eBook advertising work with key accounts to ensure our titles are featured in appropriate marketing and merchandising vehicles partner with select Distribution Clients and work closely with internal cross functional partners. The job will also involve evaluating and making recommendations for new eBook accounts conducting regular analysis of our sales performance creating reporting and analyzing data and owning Amazon onsite merchandizing of interior images. The Digital Sales Coordinator will support metadata projects as needed participate in Amazon Marketing Services advertising planning adapt to new priorities and participate in other Sales Dept projects as needed while liaising and partnering with internal stakeholders and external distributors to capitalize on marketing and sales opportunities.
Hiring Salary Range: $25.49 $29.31/hr. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the expected salary for this position and will be determined by factors including but not limited to an applicants education experience knowledge skills abilities and geographic location as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. This position is eligible for our profit share plan.

Schedule: Employees at Chronicle Books will follow a regular hybrid schedule in our San Francisco office of at least three 3 inoffice days per week and up to five 5 inoffice days per week depending on project and business needs. Applicants will need strong Outlook Excel PowerPoint and Word skills clear and effective written and verbal communications excellent prioritization and organizational skills and possess the ability to adapt to a fastpaced environment and manage projects. They will need to effectively communicate with all levels of management analyze sales data and plan accordingly and be detailoriented with an ability to effectively prioritize workload and work collaboratively. A minimum of 23 years in an equivalent role is needed with eCommerce eBook or book industry experience preferred. Prior experience with Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central is a plus but not required. Finally they should have the ability to take a broad directive and define the project steps necessary to deliver results.
