JOB TITLE: Recovery Support Specialist

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Fulltime 40 hours/week

SCHEDULED HOURS: MondayFriday 8:30am5pm: one weeknight 12pm8:30pm and rotating weekends/holidays 10:30am7pm

PROGRAM/LOCATION: Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT); Manchester CT

*Communitybased travel predominately within a 15mile radius. Company vehicles readily accessible for use!*

Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) serves adults 18 years of age and older. ACTT provides intensive communitybased treatment support and rehabilitation to individuals who have a serious persistent mental illness (SPMI) or a dual diagnosis of SPMI and a Substance Use Disorder and be determined as requiring a high level of service needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: For ACTT: Bachelors preferred HS 4 years or AS/AA 2 years lived experience considered.

Experience: 2 years working with identified populations and specifically as an RSS preferred. Self identifies as an individual with mental health and or substance use disorder in long term recovery.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Recovery Support Specialist Certification from Advocacy Unlimited Recovery Coach Certification from CCAR or an equivalent certification related to the field of Recovery Support required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Valid Drivers License required.

COMPENSATION*:

$18.00/hr minimum and up commensurate upon experience.

*Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based on relevant experience as well as adherence to our internal equity policy. Many of our positions offer program/location differentials and/or signon incentives. (Please note for parttime positions this range would be prorated based on hours worked)
