This exciting opportunity is responsible for providing reliability engineering support for operations and maintenance of buildings infrastructure and equipment assets. The purpose of this role is to develop accurate and complete asset records that support robust analysis in determining reliability of assets components equipment and processes in accordance with JLLs enhanced Reliability & Asset Management program. Data is extracted from connected systems and used to continually improve maintenance programs to meet outcomesbased performance measures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Recognizes that assignments are broad in nature and require appreciable originality and ingenuity to complete them and considerable latitude for unreviewed actions or decisions.
Asset Data Collection
- Gather asset information in the field and construct asset registers for loading into a CMMS
- Gather and construct library of drawings manuals and other documents to assist in asset data collection.
- Gather and input asset information within the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Update asset records in the CMMS as required including entering new equipment inactivating retired equipment and labeling equipment in the field with asset tags.
- Gather Maintain bill of materials (BOM) information for every asset within area of responsibility.
- Input complete and accurate records/plans within computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) related to equipment specifications data BOM failure history etc.
Reliability Engineering
- Supports process of ranking the criticality of the assets under their care typically using Reliability Centred Maintenance approaches and for defining the proactive maintenance approaches that are costbeneficial to the business.
- Review work order feedback information to improve future planning efforts. Circle back with the trades staff and leads on follow up work rescheduling requirements and improvements to the job plan for future work.
- Support in creation of risk mitigation strategies for critical assets that can be deployed across the asset portfolio
- Support in equipment preventative maintenance (PM) task creation and management for continuous improvement and PM optimization.
- Ensure that all job plans written in the CMMS include detailed instructions with pictures parts labour craft vendors regulatory and safety requirements.
- Support reliability activities such as root cause analysis investigations failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and preventive maintenance optimization (PMO) as well as assist in developing and implementing precision and predictive maintenance routines.
Performs other work as assigned.
Experience:
- Experience in an Engineering discipline mechanical or electrical preferred.
- Computer skills and knowledge of various commercial software packages such as Excel Word Powerpoint
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the maintenance/operations organization
Skills
- Proven ability to read comprehend and apply information from technical manuals and other reference materials
- Ability to make informed recommendations in situations where data sets may be incomplete
- Ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports
- Strong organization skills and ability to multitask
- Ability to balance multiple stakeholder requirements
- Able to interpret how the organizational goals and strategy translate into service or departmental activity
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability to manipulate large amounts of data accurately using different spreadsheet formats
- Ability to recognize opportunities for process improvements and assist with implementing them
- Ability to engage with client/team stakeholders at senior level
- Ability to distil large/complex challenges in a clear and concise manner

- Certified Reliability Leader is preferred however full training and support is provided in achieving this role
