QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of five 5 years of experience in audio/visual support; an associates degree or A/V certificate from a trade school may substitute as experience. AVIXA Certification of CTS CTSD or CTSI is a plus.
- Experience in the support and operation of audio video and lighting.
- Demonstrated use of advanced signal flow concepts.
- Experience in arena rigging and theatrical counterweight fly systems preferred.
- Working knowledge of the use of computerbased drawing programs and computerbased audio and lighting consoles.
- Working knowledge in basic networking IT systems with coordination of IP management.
- Must be flexible regarding working nights weekends and holidays indoors and outdoors in all types of weather.
- Must be comfortable working on stages motorized man lifts ladders work platforms and high catwalks.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

- Must have a valid Texas drivers license.

Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for theschool year.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Install troubleshoot and support audio/visual equipment operations.
- Provide quality customer service to the general public district staff promoters and other clients.
- Lead the production staff by providing systems designs for live events including concerts graduations theatrical events church services meetings banquets and sporting events.
- Coordinate ThreePhase power systems for power distribution for concerts trade shows amp racks and production truck needs.
- Coordinate rigging systems including chain motors truss and fly rail systems with electric batons.
- Supervise and train employees with the use of audio video lighting rigging electrical and networking systems.
- Report equipment and supply needs.
- Report employee operation assessments to track staff efficiency and possible training needs.
- Provide detailed training programs for production staff based on employee growth objectives.
- Provide solutions for malfunctions of faulty equipment and provide leadership in the repair and maintenance of audio/visual equipment.
- Track and report Audio/Visual working hours and equipment inventory.
- Work flexible hours as needed to achieve client and management expectations.
- Analyze and problemsolve in a highpressure environment and maintain emotional control.
- Assist in other projects and duties as assigned.

Maintain emotional control within highstress environments repetitive hand motions frequent sitting standing walking lifting climbing moving and carrying. Will be working on high platforms catwalks portable stages spotlight towers and various scaffolding. Drive various district vehicles including vans high lifts forklifts scissor lifts and golf carts. Frequent prolonged or irregular hours from week to week including nights weekends and holidays.
