Job Description
School nursing is a specialized practice of professional nursing that advances the wellbeing academic success and lifelong achievement and health of students. To that end school nurses facilitate positive student responses to normal development; promote health and safety including a healthy environment; intervene with actual and potential health problems; provide case management services; and actively collaborate with others to build student and family capacity for adaptation selfmanagement self advocacy and learning.

Arlington Public Schools is looking for a fulltime Nurse to work as a 1:1 in an integrated preschool setting within the district MondayFriday. The assignment will also include a transportation component to and from school.
- Candidates must have a Bachelors in Science in Nursing and be licensed as an R.N. by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing
- Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as a School Nurse preferred.
- Experience as a School Nurse is preferred.
- Must have CPR Certification
