Job Description
P&ID Drafter Responsibilities:
Develop new piping and instrumentation diagrams and modify existing P&IDs using AutoCAD
Read and understand P&ID markups from Engineering
Makethoroughandaccuratemodificationstodrawingsandreturn
drawingstoEngineeringonatimelybasis
Followcompanyprocedurestoensurethatalldrawingshavetheproper
approvalsbeforereleasingupdateddrawings
Qualifications:
2yearsofrelevantexperienceintheindustrial/chemicalindustry
ExperiencereadingandunderstandingP&IDs
FamiliarwithP&IDsymbologyingeneraland
ISAinstrumentationsymbologyinparticular
HighlyexperiencedworkingwithAutoCAD
WorkingknowledgeofSymbolCellLibraryinAutoCAD
ExperiencewithCADWorx or SolidWorksisaplus
ExperiencedinmanagingtherevisionprocessforP&IDs
andotherdrawings
