Job Description

Our parttime Sylvan Instructors will be trained on the Sylvan curriculum and given the tools to teach in a small group 3:1 setting. We will provide personalized instruction in Math Study Skills SAT/ACT Prep and homework you aspire to inspire then we want you on our a successful Instructor you will:Deliver Quality Education:Teach Sylvan based programs and personalized learning plans using the iPad for a more engaging and interactive learning experienceSupervise interact with and motivate students during instruction hour while working on lessons that adapt to the students individual skill and pace making learning challenging and fun never students with instant feedback and and document student Students:Develop rapport with students and establish a fun learning a positive attitude and demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching at SylvanWe require:Bachelors degreeState level teaching certification preferredWhat you get in return:As a Sylvan team member you will work in a fastpaced environment and make an impact on our business watching your Learning Center grow!$16/hour during initial trainingFlexible shifts Monday through Thursday after school or Saturdays 9am12pm.; you can work as few or as many hours as you would likeNo lesson planning or parent conferencesFocus on making a difference our directors handle all scheduling payments conferences and planningIf you want to be a part of an inspired organization that believes in fostering knowledge and confidence in children improving the lives of thousands of families every day apply today and dont let this opportunity pass you by!
