Overview
We are looking for amazing individuals who have an excellent background in demonstrating top customer care to come be a part of our team as a Porter Specialist Associate located in our Houston TX office. The ideal candidates must be detailed oriented with a strong focus & commitment in customer care and has a friendly & warm demeanor that is able to multitask performing daily various janitorial cleaning and upkeep assignments within an office building environment. Close attention to detail is critical in this role. Assignments to include sweeping mopping dusting and vacuuming as well as cleaning and sanitizing restrooms & other tasks to ensure building is in a clean and orderly condition at all times for employees and visitors.

Hourly Compensation: $18.00 $20.00 USD per hrly (DOE)
Work Schedule: Day Shift (Monday Friday 7:00 AM 4:00 PM) Evening Shift (Monday Friday 3:00 PM 12:00 AM) (shifts may include working afterhours and weekends)

Responsibilities
The Porter Specialist Associate will be responsible for handling various multitasks duties such as daily sweeping mopping dusting and vacuuming as well as cleaning and sanitizing restrooms & other tasks to ensure building is in a clean and orderly condition at all times for employees and visitors. Additional responsibiities include:
- Clean sweep mop dust vacuum and maintain daily upkeep of restrooms conference meeting rooms common eating areas etc
- Empty and dispose of trash throughout the property in designated area
- Sanitize and clean toilets sinks and mirrors in restrooms
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed
- Perform clean up of all spills or other cleaning issues as they occur
- Perform routine and/various maintenance tasks as needed and report any necessary repairs or issues to management
- Adhere to all safety and security procedures
Qualifications
The qualifications for the Porter Specialist Associate must be very detailed oriented with a strong focus & commitment in customer care and with excellent organizational skills and ability to multtask in this cleaning and maintenance role. Additional qualifications include:
- High school diploma or GED
- Friendly/professional demeanor a must
- Familiarity with common cleaning supply products and hand tools
- Excellent timemanagement skills and organizational skills detailed oriented
- Availability to maintain a flexible work schedule to include evenings weekends etc
- Ability to troubleshoot and prioritize work
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
