Job Description
Welder
We are seeking a dedicated welder to contribute to the achievement of our companys objectives by maintaining machines that manufacture and repair metal structures tools and equipment. The ideal candidate will complete all welding and gas cutting tasks within specified timeframes while strictly adhering to safety procedures. In addition to welding responsibilities the welder will be expected to perform fitting tasks assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Embracing the companys vision and actively working on waste reduction are also key aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete welding and gas cutting tasks within specified timeframes while adhering to safety procedures
- Perform fitting tasks assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to hygiene standards
- Weld materials using correct techniques and specialized machinery
- Assess welded surfaces structures and components to identify errors
- Enforce strict safety regulations and monitor machinery usage and temperature
- Weld components in various positions and embrace the companys vision
- Actively work on waste reduction and comply with company policies and procedures
- Support and promote the highest standards of hygiene at our companys Group
Salary Range: Rs 40000 to Rs 55000
Key Technical Skills & Knowledge:
- Knowledge of various welding techniques including TIG MIG arc and oxyfuel welding
- Knowledge of manual and mechanical welding techniques
- Ability to carry out jobs independently
Education/Qualification:
- Trade certificate in welding from a recognized institute
Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a welder

Benefits
3 years Contract if performance goodrenewed for another 3 years.
Incase contract is renewed then wages will be increased for a period of another 3 years.
Will be given 1 Round Trip Air Fare (IndiaFijiIndia) free of cost every 3 years.
Will get free accommodation in Fiji & free travel to work while fooding cost will be borne by the candidate which is approx. Rs 5000 per month.
Annual Leaves: Sick Leave will be 10 days Annual Leave will be 10 days per year along with Gazetted Holidays listed by the Govt of Fiji.
