Designation offered: Research Intern

Team: Energy Transition

Reporting to: Research Analyst

Duration: 4 to 6 months

Location: New Delhi India


Purpose:


CEEW seeks to hire a suitable candidate for the position of Research Intern under the Distributed Renewable Energy vertical in the Energy Transition team.


Job duties and accountabilities


Research

  • Review literature and collate data from primary and secondary sources.

  • Assist in undertaking qualitative and quantitative analysis for datasets using various methods and software.

  • Assist in writing research reports papers briefs and issue notes which could be circulated.


Programme assistance

  • Assist with project implementation including help with preparing presentations factsheets and other communication materials.

  • Assist with consumer outreach activities and engagement in awareness campaigns

  • Support efforts to use new media platforms for wider dissemination of CEEWs work and in turn closer engagement with the key stakeholders.

In addition to the duties and responsibilities below the individual should be prepared as and when necessary to take on additional responsibilities.


Selection Criteria


Qualification

  • Strong academic credentials preferably a Masters degree in developmental studies political science environment or public policy

Work experience

  • 01 years of experience

Key skills

  • Good understanding of various Indian policies and regulations around renewable energy

  • Strong analytical abilities and familiarity with research methods in the applicable fields.

  • Experience with impact assessment frameworks and systematic approaches such as costbenefit analysis.

  • Experience in conducting primary surveys with relevant stakeholders is preferred.

  • Proficiency in word processing presentation and data analysis tools


Compensation

Competitive compensation commensurate to the experience and matching the best of standards adopted by the industry or other similar organisations for similar roles.
