Job Description
A leading National Cost Consultancy (PQS) is eager to recruit a GraduateQuantity Surveyorwith one or two years experience for their Brisbane CBD office.
The ideal candidate will be selfmotivated ambitious and clientoriented with the ability to work independently. This role encompasses project delivery as well as the management and mentoring of junior staff members.
Applicants should have a solid background in the PQS sector and demonstrate a creative consistent approach to achieving excellence.
This position offers a fantastic chance to join a forwardthinking collaborative and dynamic team with a prestigious client base spanning various property sectors. Successful candidates will work on projects for commercial developers investors funds and occupiers.
Responsibilities
Perform all pre and postcontract duties at a senior level to a high standard employing best practices consistently.
Manage project work in accordance with the firms policies and procedures.
Serve as the primary point of contact for projects among clients design teams and project delivery teams ensuring successful project outcomes.
Implement project requirements efficiently and on schedule striving to keep projects within budget.
Maintain effective communication to ensure successful project delivery.
Coordinate and prepare information to aid client decisions aligning with their needs and providing procurement guidance.
General Duties
Oversee review and approve the work of junior staff and subconsultants fostering a positive and constructive work environment.
Represent the organization professionally maintaining high standards of service quality and integrity.
Report to the client and other stakeholders in accordance with their needs and company standards.
Client Relations
Build strong professional relationships with clients consultants and contractors fostering respect trust and integrity.
Represent the company at project meetings providing expert advice on project assignments.
Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders to facilitate the provision of required services.
Proactively identify risks and issues proposing mitigation strategies that safeguard the interests of all parties involved.
