Support the Districts General Services Bureau managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fastpaced teamoriented environment. The Records Services section is seeking an Imaging Supervisor. This position will focus on the imaging and digitization process (both internal and contracted imaging) managing the team responsible for converting physical records to digital formats and ensuring the proper use of imaging technology. This opportunity offers an ability to make an impact on the organization and provides flexibility and a true worklife balance.

This role is considered hybrid which means the employee will be required to come onsite and may be able to work a portion of their time remotely (must live in Florida). Starting Compensation:

$50000.00 $56250.00

The starting salary range for the Supervisor positionreflects the minimum to 25 of the compensation. The starting salary will be based on the education and experience of the successful candidate. The District conducts annual performance evaluations that may award applicable pay increases based on positive employee performance.

Essential Functions

  • Provide leadership and oversight for the daily operations of the Records Imaging Technicians
  • Oversee both internal and contracted imaging processes to ensure that digital images are created in compliance with District policies and Chapter 1B26.003 Florida Administrative Code
  • Lead the team responsible for the imaging and digitization tasks ensuring the proper use of imaging technology
  • Ensure that productivity and quality standards are met
  • Provide feedback to the staff and identify opportunities to improve processes
  • Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize organize and accomplish work
  • Assess the progress and performance of staff tasks and work assignments
  • Conduct administrative tasks such as approving leave requests timecards and updating reports
  • Hiring supervising evaluating developing coaching and disciplining. Participating in interviews and employee selection ensuring compliance with personnel guidelines and conducting disciplinary activities in coordination with the Records Manager

Working Conditions

Employee works in a standard office environment. Occasional travel is required. Performs continuous repetitive tasks (to include keyboarding) with one or both hands. Occasionally lifts and carries objects up to 10 pounds. Occasionally requires bending and reaching above shoulder level. May spend time out in the field in remote areas. Possible travel to other offices. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Employee may be subject to callin outside of regularly scheduled work hours or required to be on call including on nights weekends or holidays to respond to emergency management activities or other incidents requiring rapid response in support of District operations.

Required Credentials for Imaging Supervisor

  • Associates degree (or higher) and Four 4 years related work experience in document imaging customer service leadership OR High School Diploma and Six 6 years related work experience in document imaging customer service leadership
  • Valid drivers license

    Additional Details

    The primary work location for this position is out of the Brooksville FL office. After completing training there may be opportunities for hybrid work days. This position is eligible for compensatory time for hours worked over 40 hours in a week.
