Our ideal teammate enjoys working indoors and outdoors. They are accustomed to working in plant operations to safely move equipment and loading/unloading bulk materials.

What you do:Our ideal teammate has workrelated experience with the following

• Operate yard jockeys to reposition tanker trailers between loading bays storage areas and designated staging zones.
• Ensure tankers are properly positioned for loading and unloading as scheduled.
• Conduct pre and postmove inspections to check for leaks secure connections and overall trailer condition.
• Follow all DOT OSHA and company safety protocols when handling tankers.
• Ensure all trailer moves comply with hazardous material (HAZMAT) regulations if applicable.
• Work closely with logistics and plant personnel to prioritize trailer movements.
• Maintain clear communication using twoway radios or other communication tools.
• Keep accurate logs of trailer moves and report any delays or issues.
• Perform routine checks on yard jockey trucks (e.g. fluid levels tires lights brakes).
• Assist with minor maintenance such as replacing mirrors checking airline connections and reporting mechanical issues for repair.
• Scale trailers in and out.
• Load and unload tankers and or fill totes and drums in the plant

What We Need

The Yard Jockey/Latex Operator is responsible for safely moving equipment for loading/unloading bulk materials around our manufacturing plant. This individual will work closely with our logistics team and our production team and will keep accurate logs of trailer moves while adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

Work Location & Hours

• Plant location Morehead Road Charlotte NC 28262

• 8 hours shifts MondayFriday

• Overtime as needed

Skills and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3 year Tanker experience
• Forklift certified or able to obtain your certification.
• Basic mechanical skills
• Must have a valid ClassA CDL
• Must have Tanker and HazMat endorsement.
• Pass a DOT Physical and Drug Screen
• Must maintain DOT Medical Certification
• Clean Driving record

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50LBS.
• Must be able to meet all DOT requirements.
• Must be able to wear all PPE; including respirator (clean shaven face at all times)
• Able to work outside.
• Be able to bend squat and lift arms overhead.
