Job Summary

As a Personal Lines Account Manager you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of personal insurance accounts maintaining client relationships and providing exceptional customer service. You will work closely with clients to understand their insurance needs and ensure that they have the appropriate coverage to protect their assets.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of personal lines insurance accounts including but not limited to homeowners auto and umbrella policies
  • Build and maintain strong longlasting client relationships through regular communication and personalized service
  • Review and analyze clients coverage needs and provide recommendations and solutions
  • Process policy changes endorsements and renewals in a timely and accurate manner
  • Collaborate with underwriters and insurance carriers to negotiate terms and coverage options for clients
  • Resolve client inquiries and issues with professionalism and efficiency
  • Stay updated on industry regulations market trends and insurance products to provide informed advice to clients
  • Work alongside the sales team to support business development efforts and identify crossselling opportunities

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar clientfacing role within the insurance industry
  • Indepth knowledge of personal lines insurance products coverage options and underwriting guidelines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customerfocused mindset
  • Detailoriented with excellent organizational and timemanagement abilities
  • Proficiency in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fastpaced environment
  • Insurance industry certifications (e.g. CISR CIC) are a plus
  • An active P&C (Property and Casualty) Insurance License is required
