The Support Services Technician II performs a variety ofduties associated withtransportationsupply management communications and admissions part of the varied duties this position is responsible forequipment management to include maintaining cleaningand stocking of medical equipment and supplies. The Support Services Technician II also performs a variety of direct patient care activities including:effectively communicating with patients families and facilitystaff whileassistingand accompanyingall patients who are transferred to and from the facility via the facility van. This position provides direct patient care to pediatric adolescent adult and geriatric patients.

License or Certification:
Valid Drivers License for the heaviest class vehicle to be driven.
CPR and First Aid Certification.
Education Training and Years of Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to use computer systems and complete data entry assignments preferred.
10key data entry method preferred.
Must be 25 years of age.
Machines Equipment Used:
General office equipment such as mobile telephone copy machine fax machine calculator computer.
Understanding and using basic medical equipment i.e. wheelchair hospital bed.
Physical Requirements:
Good visual acuity and ability to communicate.
Ability to lift lower push pull and retrieve objects weighing a minimum of 50 pounds including medical supplies and equipment and the transferring and repositioning of patients. Reasonable assistance may be requested when lifting pushing and/or pulling are undertaken which exceeds these minimum requirements.
