AtTaree Community Health Service we are proud to provide a range of healthcare and support services to the local community focusing on preventive care chronic disease management and wellbeing initiatives.Our Aged Care Service consists of a Psychogeriatric Service of a CNC and Registered Nurse. The team also boasts a Nurse Practitioner specialising in Aged Health & Diseases along with access to a Specialist Geriatrician. You will be supported by the Aged Care Service Manager administrative staff and a large experienced multidisciplinary team. Regular online education is required for the safety of all staff along with the support to attend further ongoing education and relevant professional development.


Requirements
:

  • Registered Nurse with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA with at least 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience and in addition who has approved post registration nursing qualifications inPostgraduate in Geriatric Nursing/ Mental Health Nursing
  • Eligibility to drive in NSW with current unrestricted drivers licence and the ability and willingness to travel for work purposes which may involve driving long distances

Additional Information

  • To be eligible for permanent employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen or a permanent resident of Australia or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport. Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable local candidate is identified for the position; in this instance you may only be offered employment in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
  • This position is full time only however flexible working arrangements will be considered.
  • An eligibility list will be created for future permanent full or part time and temporary full or part time vacancies.
