DN Colleges Group is seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Apprenticeships to lead and innovate our apprenticeship curriculum ensuring it meets the highest standards and the needs of both students and employers.

The Role

As the Director of Apprenticeships you will:

  • Lead and Manage Apprenticeship Programmes:Oversee the development and delivery of a dynamic highquality apprenticeship curriculum.
  • Cultivate a HighPerformance Culture:Foster a culture of high standards and aspirations within curriculum areas.
  • Drive Curriculum Innovation:Lead the design and delivery of apprenticeship standards ensuring excellence in teaching and learning practices.
  • Ensure Quality Assurance:Implement effective quality assurance and improvement policies.
  • Utilise Data for Improvement:Embed the analysis of student performance data in curriculum planning.
  • Enhance Teaching and Learning:Provide leadership in teaching learning and assessment.
  • Promote Inclusivity and Diversity:Create inclusive supportive and safe curriculum areas.
  • Manage Resources Effectively:Lead the business planning process for curriculum areas.
  • Represent the College Externally:Engage with stakeholders to share best practices and promote the colleges interests.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Significant experience in a substantial management position within an FE environment.
    • Management qualification or evidence of substantial management training and development.
    • Proven track record in leading apprenticeship curriculums.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Commitment to safeguarding health and safety and quality improvement practices.

    Lets Teach Programme

Each new member of staff has an allocated Lead Practitioner who works closely with them throughout the programme.

    Lets Bloom
    The LETs Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risktaking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one year programme working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team capturing their experimentation in a journal.
