The Opportunity
This exciting opportunity to work with the senior management team to proactively develop and maintain a guest focused culture providing best in class service and the delivery of top quality food.
Reporting to the Executive Head Chef this challenging yet exciting position provides a unique opportunity for a highly motivated and confident individual who can make a valuable contribution to company profits and reputation.
As our Head Chef your responsibilities will include:
- Creating menus aligned with the restaurants ethos.
- Delivering high quality dishes using seasonal ingredients.
- Running the restaurant pass.
- Mentoring and developing junior chefs to our high standard.
- Monitoring stock ordering and payroll within set budgets.
Essential Criteria:
The successful candidate will;
- Be a dynamic innovative and passionate modern day commercially focused leader.
- A standards driven selfstarter and completer who inspires the team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
- Have strong commercial acumen; with previous experience of managing budgets revenue forecasts cost control and profit delivery.
- Have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience as Head/Sous Chef within a similar sized hotel environment.
- Have the ability to demonstrate strong people management and leadership capabilities.
