Senior Merchant Account ExecutiveWhat does a successful Senior Merchant Account Executive do at FiservAs a Senior Merchant Account Executive you will be leading strategic and consultative management for a portfolio of existing clients in the Financial Institution Acquiring vertical! This role is focused on helping FI clients grow their business leveraging large multidisciplined projects multiple Fiserv sales teams and integrating a broad set of business development initiatives in complex client environments.
What you will do:
- Develop identify and execute an account strategy aligning Fiservs growth plans and opportunities to those of the client.
- Generate new demand revenue profit margin and retention for Fiserv with assigned mix of current clients in the Financial institution Acquiring vertical.
- Lead multiple initiatives concurrently potentially in different distribution models identifying merchant prospects and driving those new sales opportunities to closure within Fiservs sales distribution channels.
- Ensure proactive accountability to the client leading to an improved client experience and retention.
- Elevate and close client issues quickly and effectively with a sense of urgency.
What you will need to have:
- 8 years of experience in merchant acquiring specifically in banking card processing merchant processing check services prepaid and/or alternative payments.
- Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education work and/or military experience.
What would be great to have:
- 6 years of experience in Financial Institution Acquiring industry.
- 6 years of experience in managing client relationships in a financial or payment services environment.
- Certifications in project management or related fields.
Important info about this role:
- Ability to travel up to 50 of the time and work weekends/evenings as necessary.

Salary Range:
$102400.00$137500.00These pay ranges apply to employees in Maryland. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ. Certain Positions are Commissions eligible.
