Castle Employment Group are very excited to partner with a family run business who have their flagship venue in the Driffield area. This is a high volume fast paced casual dining restaurant that specialises in Pizzas alongside various other freshly made dishes with covers at busy times of the year up to 250 per day.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: 13.50 14.50
- Contract: Full time
- Work Schedule: 5 days a week
- Perks: Share of tips circa 2.5k a year
- 38 50 hour week no lower than 50
This is an excellent opportunity for a chef to join a passionate family run business that can offer great stability and a great ethos. As a chef you would need experience working in a fresh food venue with knowledge of pizza & pasta and be hands on leading from the front during busy service times. This would be suited to a chef living in the Bridlington Beverley & Driffield driving would be necessary due to location
Key Responsibilities:
As the Head Chef you will:
- Be hands on I the kitchen across service times
- Prep for service patterns for the team in the kitchen team
- Manage a strong team of 5/6 chefs including planning the rota and being involved in their development
- help with the stock management and working with suppliers
- Follow food Safety and Health & Safety in the kitchen
What Were Looking For:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Relevant catering qualifications
- Food Safety Level 2
- Basic IT skills.
- Experience with a fresh Pizza/Pasta restaurant environment
- Own transport or can commute
