SUMMARY
Under general supervision supports the development implementation and maintenance of fixed asset control trains district staff on related processes and procedures; and prepares a variety of compliance reports. Assists the Director of Procurement in the administration of purchasing by maintaining a fiscally sound procurement system by which supplies and materials are properly purchased received recorded and distributed.

- Utilizes software applications to optimize accounting reconciling reporting and communication functions.
- Perform timely physical inventories and schedules regular internal audit reviews.
- Responsible for identifying tagging tracking and disposing of General Fixed Assets (GFA) and maintaining an up to date accurate database.
- Develops implements and analyzes District property control procedures; maintain the inventory control process that will ensure compliance with District policies and procedures procurement code USFR and any state or federal laws or regulations while concurrently providing fiscal accountability.
- Responsible for pick up storage and inquiries from staff regarding surplus equipment for potential disposal or reuse within District.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education Training and Experience Guidelines
- Shall havetwo years of experience in a directly related position or two years of collegeclasses taken.
- Previous experience working with students preferred but not necessary.
- Physical ability to perform assigned duties.
Knowledge of:
- District and Department policies and procedures;
- Pertinent local state and federal laws ordinances codes and rules.
Skill in:
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with community Board students and staff members.
- Ability to operate forklift.
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
A valid Arizona Drivers License required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT
The position requires the individual to meet multiple demands from several people and interact with public and staff. Ability to lift average to heavy weights bend stoop reach and climb required.
