Job Description

This application is for individuals who have not substitute taught during thewithout separating from the district. Individuals who have previously separated from the district or who are new to the district and would like to start substitute teach during theschool year should apply through this job posting.

About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over 6700 students and employs 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students three elementary schools for grades 14 two middle schools for grades 58 and one high school for grades 912.

Position Overview & Responsibilities
Responsible for supervising and instructing students with a wide range of abilities. For more information please see the job description for this position.

Schedule:Varies by level and building school days
Wages:$175/day.

Benefits:No benefit eligibilty other thanEarned Safe and Sick Time (ESST)as provided by law.

Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelors degree and required substitute teaching license (shortcall longcall lifetime or Tier 3 or Tier 4.

Application Process
Please apply online and attention application materials to Angel Lussier Human Resources Supervisor. Once your teaching license is verified you will be sent a background check link and online new hire paperwork link. Once your background check is approved you will be invited to an inperson interview. Selected applicants will complete inperson paperwork (bring your drivers license and social security card) on site following the interview. All new substitutes will attend mandatory substitute training on Thursday September 4 2025 from 9am to 1pm paid at the hourly rate of $21.88/hour or $87.50/4 hours. Substitutes will then be entered into SmartFind our substitute management system and can begin substitute teaching starting Friday September 5 2025.
