Job Description
Midland Public Schools has multiple openings for substitute paraprofessional support. Substitute Paraprofessionals are contacted on an asneeded basis to cover absences reported by regular hour paraprofessionals. The role of the substitute paraprofessional is to assist teachers with class work and/or assist with the daily care of students.
Qualifications
- Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Title I buildings (Plymouth Elementary and Central Park Elementary): applicants must provide documentation of Highly Qualified status: 60 college credits or successful ETS Paraprofessional testing.
Physical Requirements
- Able to sit stand bend lift and walk frequently.
- As assignments may vary for job responsibilities applicants must be able to assist students with physical needs that may be required.
