Marine Underwriter & Insurance Broker
Established agency seeking to hire a Marine Underwriter & Insurance Broker to join their team.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate is responsible for daytoday underwriter responsibilities and broker responsibilities that arise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for renewals crossselling maintaining relationships to grow the book of business and more.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of marine underwriting experience
- Functional knowledge of Marine/Commercial Lines rating experience and commercial primary insurance coverages: Hull Liability excess
- Property and Casualty Insurance LicenseRequired
- Full Knowledge of insurance products and usages
- Manage workflow of assigned book of business and delegate workflow
- Strong Verbal and written communication skills
- Must have excellent technical/analytical skills
- Detail oriented as must.
