Regional Sales Engineer Motion Control Greater Chicago Area

Location: Remotebased in Greater Chicago Travel: 3040

GRS Recruiting has partnered with a respected familyowned motion control manufacturer to find a driven Regional Sales Engineer to grow their presence in the greater Chicago area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a closeknit entrepreneurial team where your voice matters and your impact is immediate.

What Youll Do:

  • Drive new business development across the region with a strong focus on hunting and building new customer relationships.

  • Sell technically complex solutions primarily custom motion control systems and power transmission components.

  • Act as a trusted technical advisor collaborating with engineering and product teams to develop tailored solutions for each client.

  • Manage your territory autonomously while working closely with a collaborative national team.

  • Travel as needed 3040 to meet with clients and partners.

What Were Looking For:

  • Experience in motion control sales is highly preferred; related experience in gearboxes or power transmission also considered.

  • Strong technical aptitude engineering degree preferred.

  • Hunter mentality: youre proactive persistent and selfmotivated.

  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats and stepping into different roles when needed.

  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a teamfirst culture.
