POSITION OBJECTIVE
Bethesda requires one 1 FullTime Contract Associate Clinical Supervisors to support our Childrens Programing.
Working to promote Bethesdas mission vision and values The Associate Clinical Supervisor will support the functional and administrative supervision of staff and the coordination of clinical supports services and programs. The Associate Clinical Supervisor serves as an ambassador for internal and external stakeholders. . As a Registered Behaviour Analyst the Associate Clinical Supervisor is the most responsible clinician in their work with children/youth and families. The Associate Clinical Supervisor will have access to a Clinical Supervisor for consultation and mentorship.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct assessments and identify treatment goals independently for children/youth in the Yellow and Green categories of the Clinical Triage Stop Light System.
- Provide BCBA supervision hours.
- Present assessment results clinical recommendations and treatment reports to caregivers and community partners when appropriate.
- Provide clinical supervision to Children and Youth Services clinicians for individual and group based services .
- Monitor and evaluate clinical treatment plans and update as necessary.
- Provide coaching and support to Caregivers Community Partners Children and Youth Team Members and Students.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and community partners.
- Investigate ideas and plan the integration of engaging community activities into service options.
- Provide Brief Clinical Consultation Services.
- Facilitate community connections program registrations and referrals and share resources.
- Provide Brief Clinical Consultation Services.
- Provide Resource Consultation Services.
- Develop curriculum and resources for individual and group based treatment services as well as recreational services.
- Develop resources and program materials.
- Maintain client records and complete documentation as required.
- Assist caregivers completing funding applications and reconciliation forms and program registration documentation.
- Write ABA Reports Programs and Service Plans independently
- Write ABA Reports Programs and Service Plans with clinical supervision
- Complete Quality Assurance Measures/Tools.
- Facilitates appropriate internal and community referrals.
- Coordinate scheduling with Manager Children and Youth Services.
- Develop and facilitate training opportunities for Children and Youth staff and Community Partners.
- Facilitate Caregiver and Children and Youth Workshops.
- Actively participate in team meetings and provide suggestions creative ideas and recommendations for strengthening Children and Youth Services.
- Actively participate in administrative team meetings.
- Comply with Bethesda policies and procedures relating to health and safety.
- Responsible for reporting all health and safety concerns immediately following the Internal Responsibility System.
- Administrative tasks as required including documentation and resource development.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Contract wage is based on 2080 hours worked in a year. Advertised wage is top of grid. Actual wage will fluctuate based on qualifications
- University degree at the Masters level in ABA Psychology or other relevant program or working towards.
- Board Certified Assistant Behavioural Analyst (BCBA) preferred.
- Minimum of three years of experience in clinical leadership position.
- Experience in program planning development and evaluation that supports individuals with complex special needs.
- Experience with data collection and analysis.
- Experience working within a multi disciplinary team.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Valid Drivers License.
- First Aid Training and CPR Certification.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certified.
- Professional Communication Skills: professionally represents the company through strong communication skills both oral and written.
- Teamwork: excels at working with others and communicating with a team to provide the most effective support to clients.
